Additional BMI Information
If your Body Mass Index is between 17 to 22, your life expectancy is longer than the average person. With a Body Mass Index of 17 to 22 you simply do not need to lose weight.
If you have a Body Mass Index of 23 to 25, you are not considered overweight by the medical community, or by most people in general. However, women tend to believe they look ideal with a BMI of 20 to 22. Compare that with men who are usually
comfortable with a Body Mass Index of 23 to 25.
If your Body Mass Index is 26 or higher, than you are considered to be overweight. In order to get your body healthy, if your BMI is 26 or above, you may want to consider restricting your caloric and fat intake and increasing your exercise
in an attempt to attain a healthier weight and Body Mass Index.
